Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CodeOBF ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

CodeOBF transforms JavaScript you provide into a functionally-equivalent, obfuscated form to raise the cost of reverse-engineering your code. Obfuscation is applied in memory; we do not store or execute your source (see the Privacy Policy).

2. Your responsibilities

3. No guarantee of secrecy

Important and honest: no client-side obfuscation can make code provably secret or impossible to reverse-engineer. Any code that runs on a user's device can, with sufficient effort, be analysed. CodeOBF substantially raises that effort and defeats automated tools, but we do not warrant that protected code cannot be recovered. Do not rely on obfuscation as your sole protection for secrets (keys, credentials) — keep those server-side.

4. Plans, billing, and refunds

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without uptime guarantees on standard plans. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and including any warranty that obfuscated code is secure or unrecoverable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of data.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
